Brockton Police [Massachusetts] are asking residents for help in locating a missing 11-year-old boy.
Jayvon Phillips was last seen in the area of East Ashland Street abount 3:45 p.m. He was seen wearing a black and blue winter coat and gray sweatpants. He was reported missing about 5:15 p.m., according to Sgt. Christopher Green. He was believed to be a runaway.
With decreasing temperatures, Green said the police would be conducting a reverse 9-1-1 notification of residents to look for the boy.
Residents with information about the boy can contact Brockton Police at 508-941-0200.

Keyon Doby, 13, was last seen [1/11/13] leaving his home in the 4600 block of Evangelist Street. [New Orleans, LA] He escaped the home through his window after giving his mother his report card.
Doby was wearing a black and gold Goretti Saints jersey, black jeans and brown Nike boots.
Police say Doby has a medical condition and is in need of his medication.
